PROSTEP, Inc. develops Integration between PLM and MES Worlds

PROSTEP, Inc., the US subsidiary of the leading PLM consulting and solutions company PROSTEP, has expanded its portfolio of standard integrations based on the OpenPDM platform. The new integration enables automated data exchange between the PLM solution Teamcenter from Siemens Digital Industries Software and the MES system Solumina from iBASEt. It is being used for the first time at Purdue Polytechnic Institute in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Cross-Domain Impact Analysis made easy with System Engineering

The joint project ImPaKT funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has come to a successful conclusion after three years. As part of this project, PROSTEP developed and tested a reference process for cross-domain impact analyses and a reference model for linking the required information. The information to be linked was prepared using artificial intelligence (AI).

PROSTEP expands SaaS offering to include Integration of SAP S/4HANA

PROSTEP also provides its PLM integration platform OpenPDM as Software as a Service (SaaS) with the aim of making it easier to integrate cloud-based enterprise applications. Based on our platform, we have developed a new, cloud-enabled standard integration between PTC’s cloud-based PLM solution Arena and the ERP solution SAP S/4HANA for a well-known medical equipment manufacturer.

OpenCLM 3.0 makes Integration in IT Landscapes even easier

PROSTEP has launched the new version 3.0 of its digital thread solution, OpenCLM, which can now be integrated into customers’ IT landscapes even more easily. The information in the connected IT systems can also be linked with each other with a greater degree of flexibility. Improvements to the dashboards and graph visualization ensure that the information is displayed more clearly and concisely.

Holistic Method for validating highly-automated driving Functions

The VVMethods project was brought to a successful close at the end of last year with a conference at the Carl Benz Arena in Stuttgart, which was attended in person by 300 people and over 600 people online. Important contributions made by PROSTEP include SysML-based documentation of the overall method and its implementation in the TRACY demonstrator. This means that it be used as a blueprint for industrial implementation.

2022 was another record year for North American PLM integration and migration expert PROSTEP, Inc. This marks four consecutive years of record growth. PROSTEP’s commercial standard software for PLM integration, migration and collaboration, data exchange and digital threads was the growth driver with a 40% increase in orders compared to the previous year.
