The joint project ImPaKT funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has come to a successful conclusion after three years. As part of this project, PROSTEP developed and tested a reference process for cross-domain impact analyses and a reference model for linking the required information. The global provider of welding and production automation solutions Pemamek Ltd. has entered into a strategic cooperation with the PROSTEP Group. Using OpenPDM SHIP components, the Finnish company now also offers its customers in the shipbuilding and offshore industries integrations between various CAD/PDM systems and PEMA solutions for welding automation.
