As part of Aras’s 20th Anniversary, Aras has selected PROSTEP INC to be part of ACE2020, an event highlighting new and innovative ways to interact with the Aras integration platform. Aras ACE2020 will be held March 16-18, 2020 in Boston, MA.
Modern shipbuilding – starting with shipbuilding prefabrication – is a logistical challenge. In order to maintain an overview right from the start and to be able to intervene on a daily basis, for example in the event of staff shortages, the Bremen-based Fr. Lürssen shipyard, the Machine Tool Laboratory (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University and PROSTEP AG have launched the ProProS research project.

The leading PLM consulting and software company is thus underscoring its readiness to become involved in the work performed by committees in new business areas like autonomous driving and help develop the necessary standards.

Darmstadt, December 2019 – Autonomous driving is of strategic importance for digital transformation of the automotive industry. PROSTEP AG is therefore actively participating in key funding projects for the validation and verification of autonomous driving functions such as V&V and SET Level 4to5, which were recently approved by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). As the leading, vendor-independent PLM consulting and software company, PROSTEP will provide its partners from industry and the research community with support for the testing and industrialization of project results and will also be developing the demonstrator for a traceability solution.
Blockchain and additive production not only go well together – they are also arousing great interest. Over 70 participants from industry, development and the research community attended the User Day held at the Center for Applied Aviation Research (ZAL) in Hamburg, where PROSTEP, together with other consortium partners, presented the results of the joint SAMPL (Secure Additive Manufacturing Platform) project sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

To pave the way for them into the clouds, PROSTEP is enabling the use of its world’s leading integration platform OpenPDM in hybrid cloud scenarios through a modular architecture and the use of microservices.
On 23 October 2019, PROSTEP will be hosting the first ever 3D PDF Customer Experience Day at PERCUMA, an event location in Eppstein, Germany. The new event is all about comparing notes with leading industry representatives, who be sharing on their experiences with 3D PDF technology. They will subsequently be available to answer any questions participants might have. Places are still available.
