New OpenPDM SHIP Connector Links Revit with PLM Systems and NAPA

PROSTEP has developed a new connector for its OpenPDM SHIP integration platform that enables read and write access to the Autodesk Revit BIM system. Among other things, it offers full access to REVIT information like BOM and drawing for a PLM integration and creates native REVIT models for steel structures from the NAPA shipbuilding CAD system as reference geometry.

PROSTEP passes on its knowledge of PLM in shipbuilding

As part of the Manufacturing-X initiative to create trusted data spaces for manufacturing industry, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) is providing funding to the Decide4ECO consortium project headed up by PROSTEP. The project will address the question of how products can be developed and manufactured in a more sustainable manner and how this sustainability can be evaluated. Integration in data ecosystems plays a key role in this context.

ACO Group improves global collaboration thanks to Teamcenter migration

“ACO. We care for Water” is the guiding principle of the ACO Group. The world’s leading water technology company has placed its existing Teamcenter installation on a new footing with the aim of standardizing engineering processes and making it easier to connect other ACO subsidiaries to the PLM solution. PROSTEP assumed responsibility for migrating the CAD and PLM data to the new system environment.
